Invention Command Center

Where the mainframe automates the Age's base systems, this place is where the top personnel handle the rest. This room is used as the Age's command center, to monitor each facility in the Age using the four terminals. The terminals can be used for diagnostics and control over power and locks, while the inner functions are handled by the workers inside, whom the people here can talk to through the intercoms at their desks. Ideally, when the place is running full tilt, production would be easy with instructions from the computer being fed to the workers from here, allowing for rapid assembly on the fly. But since the player is alone and the D'ni haven't come back yet to re-open this place for their use, instead you'll have to walk to each facility and manually set them one at a time, like Blast Pit in Half-Life. The center screen here will indicate if you've done this or not, and you'll have to come back here to start the factory portion.
If you're wondering why there's English text on-screen alongside D'ni numbers, it's because you have to insert your KI into the center console to turn this place on, and on it is a program that automatically translates D'ni language for you, otherwise, that's what would be displayed, rendering it practically unreadable to you.
Note that the number four plays a strong recurrence here (four mountains and a building in each, four subsections of those buildings, etc.)
